Dear friends and supporters,
My name is Michaelene Jones, BSN-RN. I am honored to share that I have the opportunity to join a life-changing medical mission to the village of Mamissi - Togo from June 15–26, 2026, with United Mission to Africa (UMA) — a nonprofit organization committed to providing free medical care to underserved communities in rural Africa.
This mission will bring much-needed healthcare to individuals and families who otherwise have little to no access to basic medical services. As a nurse volunteer, I will be working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care, health education, and support to a local clinic.
But I can’t do this alone.
I am reaching out to ask for your support — either by helping cover my volunteer expenses (which include travel, lodging, and meals) or by donating to UMA to purchase essential medications and medical supplies for the people we’ll be serving.

Dear friends and supporters,
My name is Jessie Mcneil, BSN-RN. I am thrilled to share that I have been given the incredible opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to Togo, West Africa, in the summer of 2026 with United Mission to Africa (UMA). This mission is not just a journey across continents; it’s a journey of compassion, service, and profound impact.
UMA is a nurse led nonprofit organization founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by a vision to provide free, accessible, and compassionate healthcare to underserved communities in Africa. Their work is rooted in the belief that healthcare is a fundamental human right, not a privilege.
During this mission, our team will:
• Provide Vital Healthcare Services: Deliver essential medical care to rural communities where access to healthcare is limited or nonexistent.
• Educate and Empower: Offer health education to promote better health practices and empower individuals to take charge of their well-being.
• Build Local Resilience: Strengthen the foundation of local healthcare infrastructure to ensure sustainable health improvements.
This mission is more than just treating illnesses; it’s about restoring hope, preserving dignity, and affirming that every life matters. It’s a blessing to be able to contribute to such meaningful work and to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
